Lakefield National Park

Lakefield National park is situated 4 hours north of Cairns, QLD. Lakefield being the second largest national park in Queensland has a vast amount of saltwater rivers that run into the park, during the dry season these rivers become land locked and form fresh water billabongs. These billabongs have excellent camping grounds where we have the boats pulled right up to your camp. During these 5 day trips we move throughout the park visiting each unique billabong.
Weipa & Princess Charlotte Bay

Weipa, being the place to be for barramundi during the months of April through to July. iconic drain fishing for large barramundi along with mud crabbing makes for the best holiday.
Princess Charlotte Bay, situated on the north east coast of Queensland is home to some amazing floodplains that all lead to multiple rivers that make up Princess Charlotte Bay. During the run off season (after the monsoonal wet season) these rivers are full of Barramundi, Threadfin salmon, Mangrove Jack and large Mud Crabs. Not only is there amazing run off Barramundi fishing, the coastal islands are only a stones throw away where topwater GT fishing and jigging for Large Mouth Nannygai and Coral Trout are possible.
Claremont Isles

Claremont Isles is truely one of the most amazing fly fishing destinations in Australia, having pristine sand flats running for miles. Species such as Permit, GT's, Queenfish and BB's are all possible along the sand cays that make up Claremont Isles. Guests will take a charter flight from Cairns to Lockhart river where we will meet and take the 55 mile journey down the coast before the action begins. Claremont Isles is situated between the main land and the outer reef so it is a short relocation if you would like to throw fly's at reef thugs such as Red Bass and Coral Trout along the flats of the Great Barrier Reef, or go inland to fish the large coastal rivers that are home to some unreal Barramundi and Threadfin Salmon.

Cairns is situated in tropical North Queensland of Australia which has some of the most pristine reef flats right on our door step. some of our closer reefs are only a 45min run from the boat ramp. We offer fly trips or convental casting. small stick baits and poppers along with soft plastics is such a visual way to catch speicies such as coral Trout, chinamen, Red Bass and GT's just to name a few.
nothing beats the extictment of seeing a big coral trout chase down your lure in 3 feet of water.
